Antarctic campaign blog digest

A blog post a day keeps the doctor away...

... or rather: a blog post a day adds up to a lot of pages. I have just finished compiling a pdf version of my posts from the Antarctica field trip into an 88-page book. The text is almost identical to that here on the blog (only minor tweaks were necessary to fit the format), but the image quality is much improved.

You can download the pdf file (all 13Mb of it) here: Sismordia-book.pdf.

It took much longer than I expected, but it's worth it. Should you ever do something similar with your field trip material, I'd love to read it!

Wow! That is so neat. A very nice format. I'd be interested to hear how you created it, and how it is posted to the internet.

Hi Silver Fox, I am glad you like the digest.

I created it using iPhoto on my mac, and saved it as a pdf file. The file is hosted on the server I use for the Concordia Seismology website.
